Chief Strategy Officer

As the Chief Strategy Officer at Ocean Residences Development, I have been responsible for driving the company's strategic direction in the development of the world's largest superyacht,  NJORD, a $1.7 billion development featuring 117 apartments for ultra-high-net-worth individuals. My duties include managing contract negotiations, leading sales and marketing efforts, financial planning and forecasting, forming strategic partnerships, and guiding the overall strategic vision of the company. I also regularly present to stakeholders, ensuring that they are fully informed about our progress and future plans.

Co-founded artestudiok.com, an e-commerce website in Brazil. I develop and maintain our e-commerce website, including the implementation of a user-friendly checkout process and integrated secure payment systems. Led the development and execution of our digital marketing strategy, including Google Ads and social media marketing campaigns.  Coordinated with suppliers to maintain a diverse and high-quality selection of products. Analyzed website traffic and sales data using Google Analytics to gain insights into customer behavior and preferences and optimize our marketing campaigns, improve our product offerings, and enhance the customer experience.

As a Managing Partner at Holt Xchange, a venture capital firm providing venture capital and startup acceleration and incubation services to financial technology companies worldwide, I was responsible for raising venture capital and developing and implementing the company's proprietary methodology.  Additionally, I served as the Global Head of Strategy for Holt's parent company, Holdun Family Office, based in Nassau, Bahamas. In this role, I was responsible for identifying and evaluating investment opportunities and guiding the overall strategic direction of the company.

With my leadership, the company achieved significant success in commercial real estate, expanding our portfolio to include properties across multiple asset classes, including retail, office, and industrial.

Executive Director

As the Executive Director at Trident Maritime Systems, I co-founded and led the international passenger ship division and developed it into a +$50 million/year enterprise with EBITDA of +20%. My responsibilities included strategic planning, where I created annual operating plans that supported the strategic direction set by the board . Additionally, I pursued and developed strategic acquisition targets for the organization and grew Trident into one of the world's foremost installers of environmental green ship technology, such as exhaust gas scrubbers.

I served as the primary spokesperson for the organization vis-à-vis our current and potential customer base, the press, local community and the maritime industry. I also developed and managed sales staff, managed advertising in the press and at trade shows, oversaw content, production and distribution of marketing materials, and ensured that the organization and its mission, programs, and services were consistently presented in a strong, positive image to relevant stakeholders.  I reviewed all requests for quotation and outgoing bids to maximize award potential and negotiated all significant contract terms and awards.

As the Chief Operating Officer at Nordica Marine, I expanded the company from a small maritime contracting firm servicing the cruise industry to a multinational turn-key solutions provider to shipyards and shipowners worldwide. I achieved this by growing the business from $10 million in annual sales to $100 million in annual sales over a 2-year period, forming and serving as Director for our Singapore-based subsidiary, Nordica Offshore, achieving penetration into the Oil & Gas Accommodations Market through Nordica Offshore, and spearheading the move to become an ISO-9001 certified contractor and responsible for maintaining our ISO systems and certification.

As the Managing Director at ARE Asset Management, a real estate venture capital firm, I launched and operated hedge funds specializing in distressed real estate and real estate credit. I also oversaw the formation and operations of a stand-alone investment advisory business. My day-to-day responsibilities included portfolio management, capital raising, due diligence, and strategic planning. I worked closely with legal counsel,  JPMorgan Chase, Bank of New York, and Deloitte & Touche to draft offering memorandums, open bank accounts and license the funds. I also prepared investor presentations and  successfully raised over $15 million for the funds.

Responsible for development of the Four Seasons Ocean Residences business plan,  financial model, private placement memorandum,  and investor presentations. My work directly contributed to securing contracts with Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Aker Finnyards, and $19 million in venture capital.  Responsible for directing the production and implementation of the Company's sales and marketing campaign, website, and brochure. Closed 51 sales valued over $150 million.
